ogre-sse

13 songs pulled out of the stream of time (1983-1985). They have never been on record or on air  (nevertheless, some have been released on international  cassette-compilations in the  '80s !). These "style is irrelevant" compositions are now molded together  into a german (at that time "the FRG") movie.  You will be confronted with strong shouts and there will be violent (sound) charges, which run into the state of "...NO SOLUTION".  Back then they called it "primal industrial-punk".  And that's 'Non Toxique Lost'.  it's music that will put you into a dream state as well...

In 1985, 'Non Toxique Lost' participated in a "small" festival at the 'N.L CENTRUM' (Amsterdam, Netherlands). it was entitled "Bier, Bratwurst and Stimmung" (which translates to "Beer, fried sausage and high spirit") and combined the music of 'Non Toxique Lost', S.B.O.T.H.I. and P16.D4 (thank you, Roland Speckle). the event was announced as"verknipte muziek, films, en performance uit Mainz en omgeving". but to speak frankly, we didn't like this festival-title very much, being far far away from the image of those "beer drinking, eating hot dogs, fun having krauts". the song "Zufrieden" (which translates to "satisfied") was taped on a reel-to-reel machine by one of the festival-promoters. A year later on or so, Sea Wanton got this tape, was terrified by its quality, but revised it in 1998. adding to the original live sounds some throbbing, trembling synthesizer sounds and the scratching of some bongos, he managed to give this song back its intended thrillings and aggressions. Jammin' Unit plays the synthesizers, H. Wöhler works with some tape machines and Sea Wanton tries to catch the indifferent audience. an alternate version of 'Zufrieden' had been published a long time ago, for the first time. 'Pogo', the punk-like frontman of 'Non Toxique Lost', had been able to interpret the meaning of  the song quite right (really, the lyrics are taken from a policer's statements while being interviewed on tv. meanwhile, you could watch his comrades attacking helpless and unarmed demonstrants, squatters???, somewhere in Berlin (West), Germany).
